	BSIA - British Security Industry Association SmartWater Technology Ltd is a member of the British Security Industry Association. One of the BSIA’s top priorities is the maintenance of high standards within the industry, and it places rigorous requirements on companies wishing to become members.
	Police Accreditation SmartWater is an official UK Police accredited organisation, and licence holder of the ‘Secured By Design’ mark, which is awarded by ACPO CPI (Association of Chief Police Officers Crime Prevention Unit).
	IS09001 SmartWater has IS09001 quality assurance accreditation.
	ISO27001   SmartWater is also ISO27001 approved which is one of the highest levels of data security worldwide and is used by organisations such as MI5 and GCHQ.
	The Forensic Science Service All SmartWater products have been passed as Fit for Purpose through Product Performance Audits from The Forensic Science Service, a government agency.
	Thatcham SmartWater Instant is Thatcham Q tested. Thatcham is the Motor Insurance Industry Test Centre at Thatcham, Berkshire, which grades and accredits security products on behalf of the insurance industry.The product has been tested under extreme conditions and is proven to withstand a wide range of temperatures and operating environments. Not only more accurate than DNA, the physical strength of the product is a key advantage over natural DNA based systems which are generally more fragile.

The company has also won a number of prestigious awards, including the Prince of Wales Award for Innovation in 1996 and Millennium Product status from the British Design Council, on behalf of the UK Government.

	Shropshire Company of the Year SmartWater Technology Limited was named Shropshire’s Company of the Year 2005. The award, organised by Shropshire Chamber and sponsored by The Shropshire Star, is recognition of our contribution towards the work we do both regionally and nationally in reducing crime.
	Awarded Millennium Product Status We were awarded Millennium Product status on behalf of the UK Government, as an influential product for the 21st century. These awards were organised by the British Design Council.
	MCN Awards - Product of the Year 2000 SmartWater Instant was the recipient of this accolade and is the only security product to win this award. “It’s a marvellously simple but effective idea, although the technology involved in producing it is anything less than complex.
